Employee at Target asked if I wanted my tampons and deodorant in a bag because she knows I’m a strong, proud, perspirated woman.
Today marks the last day of my first term of the year for school. I start my second term on Monday, which will follow my final term in the summer. I tell myself constantly that I want to learn cool new things outside of school, but I am often drowned in my assignments to actually do this. I’m going to do my best this year to accomplish at least a few of these until I am done with school and can finally be a self-learner person:
- Study different languages.
Even if I only understand the basics of the language, it would be nice to be a bit more cultured beyond learning about the country.
- Subscribe to a newspaper and read it throughouly.
I used to do this at my internship at Disney and found myself very well-informed. It would be nice to start it up again on my own. It was also very helpful when writing jokes for my Writing for Late Night TV class. I once wrote a really good Goldman Sacs joke, guys. Like really, really good.
- Read more non-fiction books, essays and plays
More specifically: read more than just young adult fiction novels ironically.
- Watch more popular reality TV shows
Does this REALLY sound uncultured? I mean, it sucks when I don’t get what everyone is talking and laughing about so why would I not make this a goal? I can only watch The Hills so many times, guys. Don’t shelter me.
Anonymous asked: Sucks about the tough time you've been having. I have an inhaler that's brand new. If you want it, it's yours.
That’s incredibly sweet of you! I did get an inhaler today, so now we are both GOOD. Thanks anyway!
